Bio:
Nidal joined Schneider Electric in Saudi Arabia in 2018 as Managing R&D Director, leading the Saudi Schneider Electric Innovation & Research Center (SSEIRC), based in Dhahran Techno Valley. Earlier he worked in GE and Honeywell with more than 20 years of combined multi-national industrial experience. He is a strategist with superb analytical, attention to detail and problem-solving skills to develop strategic customer partnerships, improve internal processes, drive organizational change and facilitate a high performance team culture. Dr. Ghizawi is also the author of several conference and journal publications. He owns several patents and is a senior member of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) and the American Society of Mechanical Engineer (ASME). He served on the Industrial Advisory Board of the Mechanical Engineering Departments at Texas A&M Qatar and Qatar University, Technical Advisory Committee for the Middle East Turbomachinery Symposium and KAUST's industrial advisory board
