Dr. Basim is an assistant professor at the Chemical Engineering Department, KFUPM. He received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Chemical engineering from KFUPM in 1994 and 1997, respectively. He then obtained a PhD in Chemical Engineering from McGill University, Montreal, Canada in 2007. Dr. Basim is one of the best academic advisors in KFUPM working closely with students and contributing to their success and retention resulting in awarding him award of excellence in academic advising in the College of Engineering 4 times. Dr. Basim delivered many presentations in the field of academic advising to faculty.
